Volatile Tour and Travels Pvt. Ltd (“we”), Near Bus Stand, Gandhi Nagar, Hansi, Haryana, 125033, runs volatiletravels.com. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and use your details only to plan and book your travel.
What we collect
- Enquiry, quote, group and partner forms: name, phone/WhatsApp number, email (optional), city, destination, dates, number of travellers and your message.
- AI trip planner: name, phone number, your city and the destination you search.
- When you book: traveller names, ages, ID or passport details needed for hotels, tickets, permits and visas, and payment records.
- Automatically: your IP address (for spam protection) and, through Google Analytics, anonymous visit statistics such as pages viewed and device type.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, send quotes and itineraries, and call or WhatsApp you about your trip.
- To book hotels, transport, tickets, permits and visas in your name.
- To keep records required by tax law (invoices, GST, TCS).
- To stop spam and misuse of the website.
We do not sell your details, and we don't send marketing messages unless you ask to hear about offers. You can say “stop” at any time.
Who sees it
- Our team, through a password- and two-step-protected admin panel.
- Only the suppliers needed for your booking — hotels, airlines, railways, cab and bus operators, embassies and visa centres — and only the details they need.
- Our hosting provider (Hostinger, servers used to run the website) and Google Analytics for anonymous statistics.
- The AI trip planner sends only the destination and your city to Google Gemini to write the guide — never your name or phone number.
- Government authorities, when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for up to 2 years so we can help with repeat trips. Booking and invoice records are kept for as long as tax law requires (usually 8 years). After that they are deleted.
How we protect it
The website uses HTTPS encryption, the admin panel is limited to our staff with strong passwords and two-step login, and every login is recorded. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps and will tell you promptly if your data is ever affected by a breach.
Your choices
- Ask what details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them (except records we must keep by law).
- Withdraw consent to being contacted at any time.
- Block analytics cookies in your browser settings — the website still works.
